Another new notebook or netbook has come onto the computer scene. The newest one is the Acer Aspire One 751h. One of the standouts of this little powerful notebook is that it has an 11.6 inch screen compared to the others of 10.5 inches. This little netbook has a high-resolution screen with an excellent keyboard, plus it has a very good battery life with its 6 cell 5200MAH Battery. According to some reviews this little netbook is that it feels less bulky than other comparable counterparts even with its 11.6 inch screen.

The little netbook weighs only 3 pounds, and it has a full keyboard of 10.5 inches wide. For anyone who is in the market for a netbook or a mini-notebook this feature is one of the best, especially for those who have long or thick fingers.

The feature that stands out above all the rest of the Acer Aspire One 751h is the backlit bright, colorful 11.6 inch screen. The resolution is a 16-9-aspect-ratio of 1,366X768 megapixels. This enables more horizontal room for toolbars, or multiple windows and less vertical scrolling. However the screen has a glossy surface and will become a reflection issue in certain light.

As mentioned earlier the keyboard is full size with full-size shift, Enter and Backspace keys and the keys are placed similar to other regular laptop computers and notebooks.

The keys tend to be large and flat, but they barely any space between the keys. The touch pad is small but supports a wide range of multifunction and touch features. The click bar just below the touch pad could be better. The reviewer found that it was best to use the tap and click feature and ignoring the click button.

The Aspire One 751h features: VGA, 10/100Mbps Ethernet and three USB ports. Also included is the Webcam and a flash-memory-card reader that supports SD and Multi-Media Card Formats, but includes Memory Stick and xD-Picture Card. Available on this netbook is both 802.11b/g and Bluetooth radios.

The overall performance of the Acer Aspire One 751h netbook is very responsive for web browsing, word processing and email. However trans-coding of music and video recording, or downloading takes a bit longer. These operations tend to be slow and very common for most all of the netbook on today’s market. The video playback tended to be jerky from the DVD-resolution WMV files and full-screen Hula playback. The audio output was typically clear but weak for any type of netbook.

The Acer Aspire One 751h has some good pros such as the high-resolution screen, the keyboard, and the good battery life even when using its Wi-Fi capabilities. This is not going to be a netbook for gamers and multi-media production formats. This will be a good netbook for the internet and productivity minded user. For those who want to watch video while on the road, then you might want to choose a netbook with more power and have multi-media functions.

The Acer Aspire One 751h has a sleek and top-notch physical design. The engine that drives the netbook is lacking much strength.
